#artistspotlight Edwin C Lester was born in Philadelphia, PA. He is a self-taught artist who brings a very sophisticated and technically advanced style of realism to his figurative and atmospheric paintings. His work centers on themes that are important and personal to him. The narrative approach allows the artist to convey an emotion, a moment in time as if reading without the turning of pages. For the artist, art and life are one, and life and his belief in the teachings of the Bible should leave no canvas unpainted, for the stories are many.

Edwin Lester is an award-winning artist at major art events, fairs, and shows. His work is currently collected and sought after worldwide.

#artistspotlight Some artists like to focus on mastering a particular technique or being able to paint like the masters, and although he finds that impressive, Leif Erik Johansen has always taken the approach of focusing his energy on developing his own style, which leans towards more illustrative styles, surrealism, pop surrealism, lowbrow, and new contemporary art, which he discovered after picking up a copy of Juxtapoz and eventually, Hi-Fructose magazine.

Be sure to stop by booth #158 to check out his work.
