Can I bring my own food and beverages into the park during the festival?

Sorry, but NO outside food or beverages may be brought into Piedmont Park during the festival. Small chairs are allowed. No tents or coolers are allowed. Thanks for your cooperation.

Where do I park?

Please visit or directions and parking page for information on parking.

Can I take MARTA to the festival?

Yes! MARTA is our preferred way to get to the Atlanta Dogwood Festival. Please visit or directions and parking page for information on taking MARTA.

Is the festival handicap accessible?

There is limited handicap parking on 10th Street and in the Sage Parking Garage.  Piedmont Park has paved walking paths throughout.

Are dogs allowed?

Sorry, but your pets will have to stay home. Per City of Atlanta Ordinance [Section 110-70(d)], dogs / pets WILL NOT BE PERMITTED inside Piedmont Park during the event. The Off Leash Dog Park will be open during the event. Users of this area will be allowed access to the Park Drive Entrance only. We’re sorry for any inconvenience; it’s the law. Thank you for your cooperation.

Is smoking allowed in the park during the festival?

The City of Atlanta has passed a ban on smoking in outdoor parks and recreational facilities, including Piedmont Park.  This means no tobacco products will be permitted anywhere in the park during the festival.

What are the hours of the festival?

Friday, August 6: NOON – 9pm
Saturday, August 7: 10am – 9pm
Sunday, August 8: 10am – 6pm
Artist market closes at 7pm on Friday & Saturday.

Tickets include a menu of local plants and proteins paired with the state’s signature fruit: the Georgia peach.

🍽 Local participating chefs include: Brady Lowe (Pantry & Provisions Ltd), Casey Burch (@TheBurch), Hector Santiago (El Super Pan Latino Sandwiches & Bar), Andre Gomez (Porch Light Latin Kitchen), Drew Van Leuven (Ecco Midtown), Robert Butts (@TwistedSoulsCookhouse), Michael Staniewicz (Wrecking Bar Brewpub) and Chef Ophus (Ebi Chop Bar).

🥃The weekend’s featured Barkeeps include Scott Mayer (Blended Family Spirits), Hailee Edmonds (JBA, Macon), Chris Schotick (HI-LO, Athens), Natasha Samone (Juniper Café), Ryan Smith (Lazy Susan Tapas) and Jason Waters (Georgia Routes).

He is a self-taught artist who brings a very sophisticated and technically advanced style of realism to his figurative and atmospheric paintings. #artistspotlight Some artists like to focus on mastering a particular technique or being able to paint like the masters, and although he finds that impressive, Leif Erik Johansen has always taken the approach of focusing his energy on developing his own style, which leans towards more illustrative styles, surrealism, pop surrealism, lowbrow, and new contemporary art, which he discovered after picking up a copy of Juxtapoz and eventually, Hi-Fructose magazine.
